Manifattura Maiano S.p.A. for its eco-friendly insulation it suggests a type of dry installation that avoids the use of adhesive mortars.
It is therefore advisable to install the panels so that they are compressed on the sides to ensure perfect insulation and limit thermal and acoustic bridges. In particular, if they are installed between a wooden slat frame, the length and width of the panel or the cut-to-size piece must be 5–10 mm greater than the space to be insulated or filled.
On large construction sites, to facilitate precision cutting operations, we recommend using a UNION TOOLS PATENT type manual construction site cutter or ISOBOY OPTIMA universal shears (Figures on the side), which speeds up the preparation phase and significantly reduces installation times.
In general, for cutting panels, we recommend using suitable tools depending on the characteristics of the material.

Safety
The fibers that make up Manifattura Maiano S.p.A. thermal and acoustic insulation products comply with current international hygiene and safety regulations.
They do not cause skin irritation or harm the respiratory tract.
During the cutting phases, for proper workplace safety, especially when working with large quantities of material, we recommend using PPE such as gloves, protective glasses, and a simple dust mask.
Low density panels (18-50 kg/m3)
Applications
In walls and attics for thermal and acoustic insulation.
Mode
When cutting low-density materials, it is recommended to compress the insulation with a board or straight edge to use as a guide for the blade.
