Installation and Cutting Instructions False Ceilings
Continuous Lowered False Ceiling with Gypsum Plasterboard for Roof or Intermediate Slab
- Fix the false ceiling structure according to the manufacturer’s instructions;
- Mechanically secure part of the plasterboard sheets to the structure;
- Install appropriately insulated systems;
- Place insulating panels within the cavity above the false ceiling frame, ensuring they are perfectly adjacent to each other to avoid thermal and acoustic bridges;
- Continue fastening the plasterboard sheets and gradually laying the panels until the false ceiling is completely closed;
- Seal the joints between the sheets following the supplier’s instructions and apply the finishing layer.
Note:
It is recommended to install the plasterboard sheets without direct contact with the perimeter walls, leaving a gap of about 1 cm. Additionally, for anchoring the structure to the existing slab, the use of appropriate anti-vibration hangers is advised.
Lowered False Ceiling with Modular Gypsum Elements for Roof or Intermediate Slab
- Fix the false ceiling structure and hangers according to the manufacturer’s instructions;
- Place insulating panels within the cavity above the false ceiling frame, ensuring they are perfectly adjacent to each other to avoid thermal and acoustic bridges;
- Proceed with the installation of the modular elements according to the manufacturer's specifications.
Note:
For anchoring the structure to the existing slab, the use of appropriate anti-vibration hangers is recommended. The use of adhesive decoupling strips to be attached to the perimeter metal profiles is also advised.
